Thousands of feet up the mountain slopes breaking through the rising mist off the Cauca River and under the shade of the Jurassic-like plantain trees, you will discover our micro-lot farms in the Valle del Cauca region of Colombia. This Eden is where we grow our rich red fruit for the Geek Grind Coffee Company. A refuge from the modern world, the surrounding mountains of Valle del Cauca have, for generations, provided the ideal micro-climate to grow the world's most exceptionally pure coffee. The Geek Grind brand of 100% hand-harvested coffee, the true treasure of these mountains, is inspired and enriched by the beauty of this fertile land and the exacting craftsmanship of its people. We have created the Geek Grind Coffee Company utilizing our family's decades of passion, skill and expertise in the cultivation and roasting of mountain-grown Colombian coffee. We are a mixed American and Colombian family living between the two countries. Through Geek Grind Coffee you have immediate access to our Colombian farms and unique quality that only a direct sourced coffee relationship can bring to you.

We do not "source" our coffee as most companies do - rather we actually grow it. We harvest by hand from our own farms and the nearby farms of our friends and neighbors. We then immediately dry the coffee beans in the sun right at the mountain farms. Just hours after drying we roast the coffee in small batches then finally package the roasted in special protective packaging that assures freshness before shipping directly to your door.

We call this "Certified Origin Production" and we are one of the only coffee companies in the world to do this. We know that you will taste the difference in quality and freshness. Also you will be making a tremendous change at origin by directly supporting not just the origin farmers but also our staff at the source who roasts, packages and ships the world's finest Colombian coffee to you.

A Family Business

Our family has been a leader in the coffee cultivation and farmer advocacy forefront for more than 40 years. We continue to provide that leadership today in both the US and Colombia. Our desire is to introduce the finest coffee in the world, Colombian high elevation Arabica, to you and those you care about. We love gaming and we love coffee. We support women in management positions. We feel very fortunate to be in an industry that can touch all out passions.

Only Natural Methods

A lot has changed in the world of coffee in the last hundred years but the best way to get from farm to your cup is not necessarily one of them. Hand picked, hand dried in the sun, carefully sorted and roasted quickly in small batches; is how we do it. Sometimes the old way is still the best way. This is as true today for Geek Grind Coffee as it was when we started more than 40 years ago.

Our experienced team is committed to delivering the worlds very finest quality coffee directly from our small mountain farms, to our roaster and then rushed to your cup. To accomplish this rare combination of quality and consistency our family in the United States and Colombia and work directly with nearly 1000 farmers and our own farms - located high in the remote western mountains of Colombia – This gives us exclusive access to the family farmers living there. These micro-lot farmers are our neighbors and friends. From these mountains comes the best coffee in the world and our passion is to deliver it freshly roasted right to you! Refunds and Return Policy

Returns 
Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange. But trust us to work with you to make it right. You will love the coffee and we appreciate your business!

Now the legal stuff:

Refunds (if applicable) 
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable) 
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at ask@geekgrindcoffee.com.

Exchanges (if applicable) 
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at ask@geekgrindcoffee.com

Gifts 
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.

Shipping 

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

Shipping Policy

 

We ship all coffee orders same day or next business day if ordered late in the day. We ship Monday to Friday. Our shipping cost is $5.99 to $7.99 for all order up to $50. Over $50 is free shipping. Tracking will be sent to your email address.

Shipping for accessories, apparel and mugs are dependent on production time. Typically only takes 2 or 3 days to create the product then shipping can vary. Please allow some extra time for these items as they are created just for you. Thanks!
