Do I need to know the stories to choose a coffee?

No. Start with the flavor descriptions and choose a coffee that sounds good to you. The artwork and worlds are there to explore whenever you feel like it.

What is the difference between tasting notes and flavored coffee?

Tasting notes describe what brewed coffee reminds you of. Dragon’s Roast has roasted-nut and dark-chocolate notes from the coffee and roast. The flavored shelf above is a separate group of coffees sold with added flavor.

Which coffee is a useful first try?

For dark-roast character, look at Dragon’s Roast. For a lighter, fruit-led cup, start with Wizard’s Mist. If you enjoy flavored coffee, choose a familiar flavor from the second shelf. A 12 oz bag lets you get to know a coffee before choosing a larger size.
